NFDA Roadshow covers wide range of subjects

Brexit, digital marketing, Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) compliance and competition compliance in the automotive sector were all subjects discussed at the National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA) Autumn Roadshow, which took place recently at the Hilton Warwick.

Miles Trower from TLT Solicitors, the NFDA competition lawyer, spoke about life after Brexit and its possible implications on the automotive sector. Nick King, Auto Trader insight director, held a masterclass on digital marketing and the issues of trustworthiness and transparency in the car buying process. Tara Williams, director at I-Comply-online, advised dealers on FCA Compliance and Lucilia Falsarella-Pereira, from the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) gave a presentation on why compliance matters in the automotive sector.

Sue Robinson, NFDA director commented, “This year’s Autumn Roadshow was well-attended and provided an ideal opportunity for our members to be updated on topical issues and network with colleagues from the industry.

“Times ahead are challenging, but our industry is resilient and can cope well with them. NFDA is here to represent its members with government, regulators and manufacturers, we encourage our members to talk to us if they need any assistance.

“I would like to thank the speakers for their excellent contributions and all those who attended the event.”
