Milltek Sport releases cat-back exhaust system for Porsche 911 991 GT3
Milltek Sport has announced a brand new cat-back exhaust system for the Porsche 911 991 GT3. The system can be specified in a number of different configurations, with the option to re-use the OE Porsche trims or replace them with Cerakote black GT-100 trims, Polished GT-100 trims, or Titanium GT-100 trims. As a performance exhaust manufacturer, Milltek Sport says the 991 GT3 fitment is highly significant, as it might well be one of the final naturally aspirated Porsches.
The core of Milltek’s system includes a rear silencer delete assembly, with a diameter between 63.5mm and 50.8mm, manufactured in aerospace grade, non-magnetic stainless steel. The design of the Milltek system removes the centre silencer assembly present within the factory-fitted equivalent, yet retains the side silencers essential for compliance with UK noise regulations, and the Porsche exhaust valve assemblies. The system is designed to offer subtle increases in both power and torque, as well as an enhanced sound.
Milltek Sport adds that its choice of tail pipes should suit most tastes and budgets. For those who value subtly and originality, the trim mounting plate allows for the OE Porsche trims to be retained, effectively protecting the original Porsche factory aesthetic. The trio of different tail pipe configurations alter the rear appearance of the GT3, designed to work seamlessly with the rest of the Milltek system. They can all be installed without modification to the rear valance or bumper.
