Marangoni establishing new technical compounds business unit

A new Marangoni business unit will be formally introduced at the K 2016 trade fair in Germany later this month. The new unit has been named Marangoni Technical Compounds, and Marangoni says its establishment is the result of an investment process in technology, training, and qualifications launched five years ago, and is part of the company’s strategy to penetrate the European technical compounds market with a strong partnership between its Italian and German production sites.

It is hoped that Marangoni Technical Compounds will allow the Marangoni Group to respond to market demands with increasing swiftness. The announcement of the new business unit in Düsseldorf follows the completion of a major investment in a new mixing line at the factory of Marangoni’s German subsidiary (MRSD, formerly Ellerbrock Reifenrunderneuerungs-Technologie GmbH) in Henstedt-Ulzburg, north of Hamburg. The company says the mixing line’s addition “ensures Marangoni’s ability to play a significant role in the European market.”
