Win rugby league tickets with My Car Check
My Car Check, which is offering the chance to win Super League Grand Final tickets, has published data on the used car buying preferences of four leading rugby league towns: Hull, St Helens, Warrington and Wigan.
Head of My Car Check, Roger Powell, said: “With a few notable exceptions, these top rugby towns are broadly in line with national car buying trends. Around 40 per cent of all vehicles we check have at least one warning against them, Fiesta and Corsa are among our most-checked models, black and silver are the most popular colours, and the average UK used car retail value is about £8,000. So, what have we learnt? Transit vans are big sellers in St Helens, the people of Wigan have expensive taste in cars, Warrington is a good place to find clean history vehicles, and Hull, next year’s UK City of Culture, is a model UK town when it comes to used cars.”
