A1 Motor Stores convention to take place in Italian lake hotel

A1 Motor Stores is expecting a full house at its 2016 convention, which will take place at the Grand Hotel Majestic on the shore of Lake Maggiore on 27-30 September. A mixture of members and suppliers will attend the programme of supplier workshops, the Annual General Meeting and informal get-togethers for the Independent Bike Group and A1 Motor Factor Group. The company promises entertainment in the form of a Thursday morning train journey to Locarno, Switzerland on the Centovalli Railway, dinners on the Isola dei Pescatori and in the hotel’s Sala Toscanini room, as well as a disco.

Head of A1 operations, Simon Salloway, explained it is important to demonstrate to both A1’s suppliers and members that the group is developing, with the recent addition of two new members and a new website, which went live in August. “This year’s A1 convention will be my first as host, and I’m very excited to be welcoming our loyal members and suppliers to Lake Maggiore,” he said, describing it as “an important networking event for all parties.”
