City 1st now UK distributor for Magna tyre range
The two companies appeared together for the first time at Hillhead in June
Magna Tyres Group has announced the appointment of City 1st as its UK distributor. Commenting on the wholesaler’s new role, Ray Coulson, OTR tyre sales manager at City 1st, says that “because Magna Tyres Group is known for their emphasis on quality combined with an affordable price we decided to start this mutual cooperation. Giving a reason for the choosing City 1st to distribute the off-road tyre range, Stephan van Leeuwen, Magna’s sales manager for the UK, notes that the two companies’ “business beliefs are similar.” He adds: “City 1st is a perfect distribution partner for Magna Tyres Group.”
Southeast England-based City 1st specialises in commercial tyres and offers comprehensive, independent tyre management service. Its first public appearance together with Magna Tyres Group was at Hillhead 2016 last month, where the firms jointly presented the Magna tyre range to 7,000 industry visitors from across the quarrying, construction and recycling sectors.
