All 5 Pirelli P Zero compounds available for last two F1 2016 grands prix
Pirelli has announced the compound selection it will supply to the final two grands prix of the 2016 season in Brazil and Abu Dhabi. The exclusive tyre supplier has announced nominations for “long-haul events” – those outside Europe, and therefore further from its distribution hub –14 weeks in advance, in accordance with the latest set of F1 tyre regulations. All five of Pirelli’s slick compounds will be available to teams at the final two events, with Interlagos seeing the harder end of the scale, and Yas Marina the softer.

At Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina on November 24-27, Pirelli will supply the P Zero Yellow soft, Red supersoft, and Purple ultrasoft. The latter is – as the softest tyre, the compound nominated for Q3, while the former two are the race nominations, of which one must be used.
On both events, as usual, he teams are free to choose the remaining 10 sets; making up 13 sets in total for the weekend.
