Kordsa Global a ‘great place to work’
Tyre cord manufacturer Kordsa Global has been recognized as a “great place to work” in Bahia, Brazil, the company announced. According to a survey conducted by the Great Place to Work Institute that included nearly 40 companies, Kordsa Global ranked 7th in the list of best employers.
Cenk Alper, CEO of Kordsa Global, said: “This is the result of our high-standard of human resources practices that we implement in our business enterprises on four continents. This award that we have
received strengthens our No. 1 ranking in the Investment in People category in the Golden Collar Awards organized by Sabanci Holding last month.”
Survey results from the Great Place to Work Institute included 2/3 of the scores from company employees and the remaining 1/3 based on comparative analyses of human resources programs established by each company.
Open-door policy, accessibility to leadership, family visits, suggestion systems and improvement of work environments were noted as the company’s strongest human resources practices.
