Exol – lighter colour greases look more professional
Exol Lubricants has revealed that its lithium EP greases will now be available in a much lighter colour to give the products a more professional look, aligning it with global brands.
The range of Lithium EP (extra pressure) greases consists of multi-purpose, extreme pressure greases made from lithium soap stock, which imparts high and low temperature characteristics and chemical stability. The load-carrying additives system contains no lead or metals ensuring products are environmentally friendly.
EP greases contain a solid lubricant, usually graphite and / or molybdenum disulfide, which provides protection under heavy loadings. These solid lubricants bond to the surface of the metal, preventing damaging metal-to-metal contact.
Greases main applications are mechanisms that can only be lubricated infrequently and where a normal lubricating oil would not remain. They act as a sealant, preventing ingress of water or other contaminants. Greases also prevent friction, having a beneficial impact on vehicles bearing heavy loads.
Exol stocks a full range of EP greases for industrial, commercial, agricultural and automotive applications, including Libra 000EP (Z001); Libra 00EP (Z002); Libra 0EP (Z003); Libra EP1 (Z004); Libra EP2 (Z005); Libra EP3 (Z034); and Libra EP2M (Z008) and Blue Complex Grease.
The changeover to lighter-coloured lithium EP greases is being made across all pack sizes, and therefore all customers can feel the benefit of this significant development.
