Euro Car Parts launches £1 million mobile optimised website, including Click & Collect
Euro Car Parts has launched a new £1 million fully responsive and mobile optimised website, featuring a performance parts section and an enhanced Click & Collect service. The company states that its website received 40 million visitors in 2015, breaking into the Internet Retailing Top 150. The newly launched platform also provides dedicated French and German sites to support the company’s European growth plans.
ECP’s new Click & Collect service makes its entire range available to consumers, promising that “most parts will be ready for collection from your local branch within 15 minutes.” Rarer parts, held at one of 16 regional hub stores or the National Distribution Centre, will be available either the same or next working day.
The new performance section covers filtration, braking, suspension, chassis, exhaust, lighting, drivetrain, wheels and more, including more than 7,000 parts from leading suppliers such as Apex, BMC, Bilstein, Brembo, Cobra, EBC, H&R, K&N, Milltek, Powerflex and Scorpion. Notable products include H&R lowering springs, Scorpion performance exhausts and K&N induction kits for the new Ford Focus RS.
Martin Gray, chief executive officer (CEO) of Euro Car Parts, said: “EuroCarParts.com has everything a motorist could possibly need, from brake pads and batteries, to spark plugs and screen wash, even new body panels. We have quadrupled our ecommerce turnover since 2012 and 70 per cent of these sales are collected in-store, so it made sense to expand Click & Collect to our entire stock holding instead of just parts held at each local branch. The new supercharged Click & Collect is the quickest way for consumers to get any part for any car, including performance parts, at trade prices.”
ECP makes 60,000 deliveries to UK garages every working day. It stocks 130,000 different parts covering all makes and models, plus tools and accessories such as sat navs, stereos and dash cams.
