Bridgestone at Reifen Essen show 2016
Bridgestone is showing its car tyres at Reifen for first time in a decade, along with a host of other products
Bridgestone returns to the Reifen Essen with a 550m² two-storey booth (Hall 3, stand 3C36) showcasing “a wide range of commercial products” including truck and bus tyres, agricultural tyres, and off-the-road tyres as well as the DriveGuard technology and other passenger car products – the first time Bridgestone has car tyres to Essen in the last 10 years
Bridgestone’s Total Tyre Care strategy will also be shown on the booth. One of its pillars, Total Tyre Services, is Bridgestone’s promise for professional tyre maintenance and assistance across Europe. During the show, Bridgestone will highlight how the partnership between the company and its Bridgestone Partner network can support transport operators and keep trucks running at maximum efficiency and thus help reducing tyre-related costs.
New BASys tool to make its debut
The stand will also feature a dedicated Bandag area, which will showcase all the benefits of using Bandag retreads. Supporting this, a new tool – BASys – will premiere at Reifen Essen. According to the company, BASys is a new casing management and tracking solution that maximizes a tyre’s life.
And then there’s Bridgestone’s new DriveGuard car tyre technology (in both summer and winter versions).
What separates DriveGuard from other run-flat products is that it can be fitted to most cars with TPMS, rather just selected models. Visitors will also be able to try the new tyre themselves at the FG 4 outdoor area, just outside hall 7.
In addition Bridgestone is showing its newly developed range of Bridgestone On/Off tyres: M-STEER 001, M-DRIVE 001 and M-TRAILER 001; Premium Bandag retreads such as the new Bandag BDR-C, a retread for coach and bus applications; the latest range of Firestone On/Off tyres; other products from Bridgestone’s subsidiary brands Dayton and Protread will also be shown as well.
In the agricultural part of the stand, Bridgestone will display the Firestone Maxi Traction 65 and the flagship Bridgestone VT-Tractor.
And finally, the all-new Bridgestone VHS2, a premium on-off-road crane tyre, will be shown as well.
