Toyota approves Toyo NanoEnergy tyres as Prius OE fitments
Toyota has approved four Toyo NanoEnergy models for the Prius
In addition to approving three Bridgestone tyres for the new Prius, Toyota has homologated four Toyo NanoEnergy models for original equipment fitment on its latest generation hybrid.
European customers will be able to have their Prius supplied with the NanoEnergy J61 in size 195/65 R15 91H or the NanoEnergy R41 in size 215/45 R17 87W, while Prius buyers in the USA will receive the NanoEnergy A29 in size P195/65 R15 89S. For the Japanese market, Toyota has approved the NanoEnergy J59 in size 195/65 R15 91S as its smaller-size option, while customers selecting 17-inch rims for their Prius will receive the same 215/45 R17 87W tyre as is supplied in Europe.
