Tech showing new TPMS product lines in Essen
2016 has already seen the launch of the T-Pro1 in January, which together with the T-Pro2, launched in Autumn 2015, boasts combined coverage of over 95 per cent of direct-TPMS enabled vehicles, covering vehicle groups such as BMW, Nissan, Land Rover, Jaguar and Subaru, as well as numerous others not currently found in other aftermarket sensors.
According to Tech, the T-Pro1&2 comprises the seven-year Maxell battery, the latest Freescale chipset and a new lighter, stronger housing. Configuration time is now 2-3 seconds, making the T-Pro 10 times faster to configure than other popular programmable sensors. It can be configured using ATEQ, Tecnomotor, Texa and BrainBee diagnostic tools and comes with a two year sensor warranty.
Tech strongly believes that distributors and tyre bays will no longer need to worry about building up unwarranted inventory, they now need only one brand of sensor, the T-Pro.
Tech will also launch a new range of TPMS products at this year’s Reifen exhibition in Essen, which includes the new Tech OE-R. Tech OE-R sensors are direct replacements for OE sensors. The Tech OE-R sensor can simply be fitted, the relearn procedure applied and then is fully functional.
Tech Europe (EMEA) is presenting the new Tech OE-R at Reifen from 24-27 May on stand E21 in hall 11.
