DriveRight offers caliper profile data

DriveRight is promoting its database of CAD drawings and other brake caliper data for all the latest models and post-production vehicles. According to the company, the system, which is pitched at wheel manufacturers amongst others, covers “almost all vehicles”.

The thinking is that the drawings provided by DriveRight allow wheel manufacturers to not only be proactive in the design of new wheels being brought to market, but also to review the designs of current inventory to determine how a wheel can be modified to accommodate caliper clearance for the latest model vehicles released.

The latest profiles to be added to the company’s caliper profile library are: Ford Focus III; Honda USA Civic Si; Nissan Altima L33; Toyota RAV 4 XA40; Lamborgini Huracan; Lamborgini Aventador; Ferrari F458 Spyder Speciale and Mazda MX5 Brembo.
