Bridgestone a gold partner for Tokyo 2020 Paralympics

Bridgestone Corporation has become a Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Gold Partner after concluding an agreement with the Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games; the Paralympic partnership deal will run until 31 December 2020. In addition, the company will support Japan’s national Paralympic team, starting this year with the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games and covering both the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games in South Korea and the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

This agreement extends the tyre and rubber product manufacturer’s support for the Tokyo games; in mid-2014 it signed an agreement to become an official top-tier Olympic partner through to the 2024 Olympic Games. Under the agreement signed in 2014, Bridgestone was named the ‘Official Tire of the Olympic Games’.
