Heuver appointment to facilitate Aeolus OEM business

Heuver Tyrewholesale sees good opportunities for Aeolus brand commercial vehicle and earthmover tyres with OEM customers in Germany, and to help further its Aeolus activities in the original equipment segment has hired Guido Becker as account manager. Becker will concentrate on looking after the wholesaler’s Aeolus customers from within the tyre trade, freeing up Helmut Haak, who joined Heuver Tyrewholesale as account manager for Southern Germany in 2012, to focus on Aeolus within the OEM segment.

According to Heuver Tyrewholesale director Bertus Heuver, the company had its eyes open for new opportunities after witnessing very strong growth with the Aeolus brand in Germany over a number of years. “Aeolus’s reputation is good and very stable, and the market has great trust in it,” he commented. “This good reputation is the best prerequisite for aligning our focus upon new activities. With Helmut Haak we have a top in-house expert who can open doors. And in order to give him the best chance, we’ve reassigned his former position. In Guido Becker we’ve found a colleague who can take over the Southwest Germany region from him. Helmut remains the general contact partner for the Swiss market, however in Germany and bordering regions will focus upon the OEM market. We are convinced that we’ve found a suitable addition to our motivated sales team in Guido.”
