Vipal strengthens Portuguese retread presence

Vipal has strengthened its connections with the Portuguese retreading market, building on a relationship in Spain and now including retreader São Mamede, from the city of Guimarães

Vipal reports that is embarked on a series of relationship and communications actions focused particularly on European clients during the course of 2015.

São Mamede has long been a partner of Vipal and one of the top worldwide manufacturers of tyre retreading products, and was a Vipal client even before the European office was opened in 2005. For its owners, Jorge and Eugenio Pereira, the quality of Vipal’s product and service are of vital importance to the retreader. The latest action is meant to further reinforce the relationship between the two companies. “This year, with the partnership we’ve developed with certain retreaders and our technical and business action plans, São Mamede chose to put the Vipal brand in its visual identity,” says the Manager of Vipal Europe, Alessandro Campos.

In addition to visually communicating its partnership with Vipal, the project includes awareness actions for transporters. The service, provided by Vipal’s own team, promotes the financial and environmental benefits of tyre retreading, and emphasises that, when the brand’s products are used, fleet owners spend less on fuel.
