BMW’s E36 M3 is well on its way to classic status, meaning that owners will potentially want to upgrade components. Italian brake manufacturer Tarox now provides such a product, with front disc and pad sets for all models. The kits offer a direct replacement to the OEM parts, but with significantly improved performance and less tendency to fade, Tarox claims.
Four styles are available: the Zero, aimed at replicating OE aesthetics for the purist or collector; the diagonally vented G88; the JDM inspired Sport Japan; and the spirally grooved F2000. Each disc undergoes a structural stress-relieving heat treatment at the end of each machining cycle, which Tarox says increases durability and reduces the risk of warping under repeated heavy braking. All discs are CNC machine-faced down to a tolerance of 0.015mm for both optimal performance and to accentuate the overall look of the car.
In pads, Tarox offers: the Strada for cars that are driven daily with cold performance, instant bite and added longevity; the Corsa, for more performance and track-oriented driving; and the Competizione for competitive racing. Tarox offers every application available for both 3.0 and 3.2 models.
