Pirelli tyres OE on Tesla Model X

Tesla Motors has selected the Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico as an original equipment tyre for its new SUV, the Model X. The M+S marked tyre will be supplied to Tesla in size 265/35ZR22 102W for the front wheels and size 285/35ZR22 106W for the rear.

In an orgy of superlatives, Tesla promotes the Model X as “the safest, fastest and most capable sport utility vehicle in history.” The manufacturer states that a 90 kWh battery gives the electric all-wheel drive a range of 257 miles, adding that the seven-seater can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in as little as 3.2 seconds. UK deliveries are expected to begin in the latter half of 2016.
