Jaguar Land Rover is UK’s top employer, says survey

Jaguar Land Rover, AstraZeneca and Harrods are the United Kingdom’s top three employers according to an independent survey conducted by Statista for Bloomberg’s content and research arm to discover the UK’s best employers.

To identify the best employers in the UK, Statista conducted an extensive online employee survey among 15,000 workers in more than 1600 UK-based firms with at least 500 workers. Respondents were asked a series of questions about job satisfaction; most critically, whether they would recommend their current employer – or a competitor – to a potential employee. To ensure anonymity and the survey’s independence, none of the companies were informed beforehand.

The survey also lists the best employers in a number of different industries. As can be seen from the table below, The ‘Automotive and Suppliers ‘ category is dominated by car manufacturers, with Goodyear Dunlop flying the flag for the tyre industry by coming in at number 10.
