Avon Tyres to start 2016 bike season early at Motorcycle Trade Expo

Avon Tyres is getting ready for the new motorcycle season by attending the 2016 Motorcycle Trade Expo on 24-26 January. Calling it the top motorcycle trade show in the UK, Avon said it would use the event to raise awareness of its product range, while using the opportunity to present its dealer support schemes.

The Motorcycle Trade Expo is the place in which the bike industry meets to do much of its preseason business. For Avon, that means making dealers aware of its wide range of motorcycle and scooter tyres, from the acclaimed TrailRider adventure tyre, through the award-winning Storm 3D X-M sport-touring tyre, down to the new entry-level StreetRunner. Also on display will be the Avon-liveried Triumph Thunderbird LT cruiser which is original equipment on the Avon Cobra tyre.

The Melksham-based brand is also rolling out its dealer support schemes for 2016, which includes its new Retail Support Programme (RSP), offering a range of benefits to participating retailers.

The brand’s head of global motorcycle tyre sales, Doug Ross, and UK sales manager, Gary Bretherton, will be available for appointments throughout the entire show on the Avon stand (Stand B80).
