New Cooper WM Van sizes available

Introduced for the upcoming winter season, Cooper Tire Europe’s WM winter van tyre is now available in a wide range of sizes. Sarah McRoberts, European marketing communications manager for Cooper, said, “With what could be an extreme winter for us in Britain, it is important to ensure that one of our flagship products is made available to as many van and car owners as possible, across the Cooper Tire WeatherMaster range.

The WM Van product, specifically developed with medium sized vans in mind, has a patented tread design. This is an improved winter pattern, developed following an extensive testing programme, which features aggressively profiled tread blocks and a new patented tread groove design. Serrations on its inner surface provide outstanding traction and enhanced braking performance on snow, ice, slush and mud. Meanwhile, heavy siping of the tread blocks also aids traction and braking, and a central circumferential rib enhances steering response.

With a specially formulated silica tread compound, the WeatherMaster Van tyre is designed to provide the highest levels of grip required for the harshest of winter conditions. Ice studs can also be fitted to this Cooper product, which has a B rating for wet grip.
