Heuver Tyrewholesale boosts stocks of Aeolus winter tyres

The Aeolus ADW80

Heuver Tyrewholesale says that many companies normally only think about winter tyres in October. In the past, this would have been too late to guarantee availability. However, Heuver has boosted the number of Aeolus ASW80 (steer axle) and ADW80 (drive axle) winter tyres that it holds in stock. As a result, once customers place an order, they will normally receive their tyres the next day, thanks to ample stocks at Heuver’s distribution centres in the Netherlands, Germany and France.

Bertus Heuver, director Heuver Tyrewholesale: “One of the most difficult things to plan is the exact moment when winter tyres will be implemented. All transporters want to stick to their delivery schedules, even in tough winter conditions. By fitting winter tyres on their trucks, they can add a little bit of extra certainty to their logistical planning. And punctual deliveries result in satisfied customers. We also like to consider the needs of end users, and informed our customers that we now have generous numbers of Aeolus ASW/ADW winter tyres in stock. In turn, they can inform their customers about this new availability.”

Heuver realises the importance of short lines of communication, accurate stock levels and fast distribution throughout Europe. Bertus Heuver: “We want to offer our customers the best possible support in the main transport countries in Europe. And this is partly done by always maintaining flexible and reliable stock levels. An important role is also played by our distribution centres in Hardenberg (NL), Bayreuth (D) and Saint Quentin Fallavier (F). They allow us to quickly deliver Aeolus winter tyres to our customers in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France. And we know from our customers that transporters greatly appreciate this extra certainty, because their main aim is to do their work as quickly as possible, without encountering problems.”
