Dipstix growing FlexiFix network
Dipstix, a website designed to connect motorists manage their cars, has added a new Midlands-based team member in response to “growing demand” for its new FlexiFix ‘fix now, pay later’ product.
David Sanders joined Dipstix in July. He brings with him a background in finance.
FlexiFix launched in July with a Financial Conduct Authority (FGA) regulated partner. It enables registered garages to offer customers up to 60 days interest-free credit on bills ranging from £250 to £5,000.
This encourages people to deal with unexpected car maintenance work there and then. Diptix say this helps to ensure the garage gets the work they’ve quoted for, whilst motorists get the peace of mind that comes from completing those vital repairs.
“Garages registered on FlexiFix have a perfect solution where customers are struggling to pay for repairs,” said Dipstix managing director David Cederholm. “We’re seeing that making payment more manageable encourages people to go ahead and get work done.”
National roll out
Following a successful regional trial in the North West of England, FlexiFix is now being rolling out nationally. Over 80 garages are already now registered to offer the business-building service.
After completing a simple online application, approval is typically gained within a few minutes. The only cost to the garage is a small arrangement fee, the work is then later evidenced with a matching invoice.
