Yokohama confirms OE tyre supply to Mazda MX-5, North American CX-3

Yokohama Rubber has confirmed news reported in March that its Advan Sport V105 tyre will be fitted as original equipment on the latest generation Mazda MX-5 in size 195/50R16 84V. Yokohama tyres have been original equipment on the Mazda MX-5 since the model’s launch, and Yokohama Rubber says adoption of the Advan Sport V105 for the new model “continues this proud history.”
The tyre maker also reports the original equipment supply of its Avid S34 all-season tyre for the North America market version of the Mazda CX-3 compact crossover. Two sizes of the Avid S34 will be fitted on the CX-3, sizes P215/60R16 94H and P215/50R18 92V.
On Tuesday, Bridgestone announced its Potenza S001 will be fitted to certain North American MX-5 models in size 205/45R17.
