Michelin appoints Guy Heywood as UK head

Guy Heywood (pictured) has been appointed Truck & Bus Commercial Director – North Europe and Chris Smith has been appointed Truck & Bus Marketing Director – North Europe

Michelin’s UK’s Guy Heywood, has been appointed as commercial director for the well-known tyremaker in the UK and Republic of Ireland. Heywood has been commercial director Truck – UK & ROI since since 2012.

Heywood’s new role sees him co-ordinate directors of agriculture, earthmover, motorcycle and passenger car tyres as well connecting directly with certain key customers.

In addition to the Michelin roles, Heywood is a director of the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership and an Ambassador for Transaid.
