ISO/TS certification for Michelin India plant

The Michelin tyre factory near Chennai, India has been granted ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 16949:2009 Quality Management System Certification. The certification was carried out by the Technical Union for the Automobile, Motorcycle and Cycle Industries (UTAC).

“Our commitment to quality, innovation and technical performance is relentless and continuous,” commented plant director Atul Renavikar. “The ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 16949 certification applies to companies that contribute added value and quality to manufactured products. This certificate demonstrates strict adherence to highest quality standards that Michelin is synonymous with across the world.”
