Stamford Tyres and Sumitomo celebrate 40 years of partnership

Singapore-based Stamford Tyres Corporation Limited recently celebrated its 40th anniversary of partnership with Sumitomo Rubber Industries (SRI).
In early May, the company hosted a ‘Celebratory Dinner’ at the Singapore home of Stamford Tyres President, Wee Kok Wah and his wife Dawn Wee (executive director) in honour of Ikuji Ikkeda, president and CEO of SRI.
The partnership between Stamford Tyres and SRI commenced in 1975 and coincided with the introduction of the highly successful brand of Ohtsu tyres with the launch of Falken tyres following in 1983.
Stamford Tyres currently holds the exclusive distribution rights for Falken tyres in various countries and selected regions in South East Asia, Indian Ocean, Pacific Ocean and Africa.
