Founded five years ago, First Industrial Tyres is a national mobile tyre fitting business that supplies all leading brands of industrial tyres as well as holding the exclusive distributorship for the globe star product range of resilient and press-on band range of solid industrial tyres.

According to the company, FIT is 100 per cent customer focused, with the business’ philosophy suggestion that it is “understanding [customer] needs and helping to eliminate tyre-related down time that drives our company to deliver a service that is second to none.”

In practice this leads FIT to claim it is the only mobile tyre company that has “a unique fleet of vans and mobile presses with on-board airlines and power”. This allows trained fitters to carry out the work anywhere on site, without disruption. The firm’s emergency services sees fitters arrive on site within four hours of a call. Over 95 per cent of repairs/replacements are then achieved immediately.

As well as fitting tyres, the company is a licensed waste carrier meaning fitters can also dispose of old tyres in accordance with environmental standards.
