BKT hails Maglift as the tyre for forklifts
As well as grip and weight-bearing characteristics, the Maglift features a second central compound for driver comfort.
The Maglift’s “superb load capacity, stability and safety” make it the ideal tyre for forklift applications, according to BKT.
The well-known Indian industrial and OTR tyre manufacturer explains that it was this mix of essential features, which all constitute demands from forklift truck customers, which led to the development of the Maglift.
As a result the tyre is said to offer the optimum weight distribution and stability at the same time. “It is all about a very resistant solid tyre for which the risk of slippage has been eliminated for any kind of usage. Thanks to the steel cords that reinforce the structure and make the rim coupling even safer, this includes very extreme conditions”, company representatives said in a statement about the product.
BKT has also designed and fine-tuned a specific compound for Maglift which basically features increased cut resistance turning into a longer product life-cycle.
As far as riding comfort is concerned, BKT has integrated a softer compound in the central tyre section which actually offers excellent riding comfort.
The Maglift range includes 19 different sizes which are available at the moment: 4.00 – 8, 5.00 – 8, 15 X 4.5 – 8, 16 X 6 – 8, 18 x 7 – 8, 6.00 – 9, 21 X 8 – 9, 140/55 – 9, 6.50 – 10, 23 x 9 – 10, 200/50 – 10, 7.00 – 12, 27 x 10 – 12, 7.00 – 15, 7.50 – 15, 8.15 – 15, 8.25 – 15, 250 – 15 and 300 – 15.
Each size is also available as “LIP” version.
