Maxxis aims to give drivers ‘the performance they deserve’
According to the company, the Victra Sport VS01 delivers strong handling in wet and dry weather conditions, as well as high speed driving stability. Grip has reportedly been enhanced through vertical ribs embedded in the centre of the tread, which offer strength and improve traction. Strengthened shoulder blocks with streamlined transverse grooves are designed to ensure outstanding grip and precision when steering, due to a reduction in the deformation of the blocks during sharp turns, enhancing wet handling and minimising the chances of hydroplaning. High strength steel belts and high rigidity bead filler are there to support sport performance, and an unequal pitch ranking designed with finite element analysis controlling noise emissions effectively – all in order to give drivers a quieter ride.
Maxxis representatives concluded by saying that the entire VS01 range comes with the new summer asymmetric pattern, a fashionably attractive appearance, and built-in rim protection.
