Apollo Tyres’ recently-appointed CFO resigns

Raj Banerji

Apollo Tyres informed the BSE on 2 May that it has “reluctantly accepted” the resignation of Raj Banerji, the company’s chief financial officer. Banerji informed the tyre maker of his decision on April 30, less than three months after Apollo Tyres first announced his appointment to the role.

Raj Banerji joined Apollo Tyres from a large Indian private investment company, replacing Sunam Sarkar, who took on the role of chief business officer at Apollo late last year.

In a statement, Apollo Tyres thanked Banerji for his work to date and wished him well in his “future professional endeavours.”
