Barrier to test Michelin MotoGP tyres

French motorcycle racer Sylvain Barrier has been hired as test rider for Michelin in the run up to the company’s debut as sole MotoGP tyre supplier in 2016. Speaking with Crash.net, Barrier confirmed he is the tyre maker’s official rider and now working with Michelin on the MotoGP tyre project. “I’m doing some development work. I work with them for many years and they really like the way I speak about the tyres.”
