Vipal Rubber opens Italian sales office

Brazilian retreading and rubber product manufacturer Vipal Rubber has set up a sales office in Italy. The new office in Bologna opened in January 2015 and caters to a market that last year grew 13 per cent year-on-year. The decision to establish an office in Italy is not only in line with the company’s policy of remaining close to its customer base, rather it also reflects the strategy in place for developing the Vipal brand in the Italian market.

“Simplifying the sales process is crucial if you intend to offer your customers both promptness and quality,” commented Vipal Europe general manager Alessandro Campos. “Italian customers will benefit from this operation both operationally and administratively, and it also offers logistical advantages as the office will be managed by our distribution centre in Slovenia, which is located near the Italian border.”

Vipal exports to nearly 90 countries around the world and has four distribution centres in Europe; these are located in Spain, Germany, the UK and Slovenia. It also operates centres in Australia, Mexico, Colombia, plus three centres in the USA (Florida, Virginia and California) and at its factory sites in Brazil (Extrema, Nova Prata and Feira de Santana).
