Tarox releases new Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class, A45 AMG brakes
Tarox has launched its latest brake packages for A-Class off-shoots The Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class saloon and A45 AMG.
A Sport Compact brake upgrade package for the CLA-Class reduces the car’s unsprung weight with a new hard-anodised aluminium B32 multi-piston caliper. The accompanying disks are heat-treated, faced and hand-finished to a tolerance of 0.015mm, with either F2000 (spiral grooves) or Sport Japan (grooved and drilled) finishes. A set of braided brake lines and comprehensive fitting kit complete the kit.
For the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG, Tarox provides a two-piece billet steel and anodised alloy hub structure from its Bespoke range, in order to replace the OE 350mm diameter discs. Retaining the original disc dimensions for ease of fitment, the brakes also reduce unsprung weight through the materials used, improving ride quality and wheel control under braking. They are also available in the F2000 or Sport Japan finishes.
The Tarox Sport Compact front brake kit for the CLA-Class costs £1318.80, while the Tarox Bespoke front discs for the A45 AMG are £958.80 for the pair (excluding VAT).
