Orion names Leigh as SVP

Carbon black supplier, Orion Engineered Carbons, named Mark Leigh as senior vice president, Rubber Carbon Black on 5 February. In this role he will provide leadership to the business line on a worldwide basis. He will also continue to support the Americas region as we conduct a search for his replacement in that role.

Leigh has been senior vice president and general manager of Orion’s Americas Region and member of the executive management team since the founding of Orion in July 2011, having joined its predecessor business in 1998. He previously served as vice president, sales and marketing for specialty and rubber carbon black in North America. Leigh holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Illinois and a master’s degree in business administration from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
