Hyzdu to lead Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations’ commercial marketing
Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations (BATO) has appointed Marshall Hyzdu to head marketing within its commercial tyre business. As vice-president of BATO’s Commercial Tire Division, Hyzdu takes on responsibility for marketing initiatives related to OTR and truck and bus tyre products for the company’s Bridgestone, Firestone, Bandag and Dayton brands in the region where BATO is active.
“We are fortunate to add Marshall’s many talents and rich experience to our team at BATO,” said Philip Dobbs, chief marketing officer for Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations. “Under his leadership, we are confident that the commercial division will continue to grow, meeting and anticipating customer needs and moving Bridgestone forward as an industry leader.”
Before joining Bridgestone, Hyzdu worked with a number of global brands, including Valvoline and Kraft Foods. Hyzdu led global product strategy for Valvoline. During his more than six years at Kraft, Hyzdu led brand management for several of the company’s brands. Additionally, Hyzdu was employed as an analyst at UBS Investment Bank and a brand manager at Vector Marketing Corp.
