Oil leak at Titan Tire Corporation plant contained

Titan International Subsidiary Titan Tire Corporation says an above-ground storage tank at one of its facilities in the US has leaked lubricating oil, and this oil has entered the local water system. The leak at the Bryan, Ohio plant flowed into the storm water system and then into the Prairie Creek.

The tyre maker says “several ducks” were affected by the release, and it has now retained an outside company to “revitalise the affected wildlife.” Titan Tire Corporation adds that the release has been contained and it is actively addressing the incident.
