Michelin Bad Kreuznach plant to produce Selfseal

During last November’s Michelin Challenge Bibendum event, the tyre maker announced its intention to begin production of ‘Selfseal’ tyres, which contain a polymer that immediately closes holes in the event of a puncture, during the course of this year. It appears these products will be manufactured at Michelin’s Bad Kreuznach factory in Germany; during an event at the site, plant manager Cyrille Beau confirmed the plant’s selection as a Selfseal production site.
