Nexen Tire wins Fiat Chrysler supplier award, extends OE tyre supply

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has chosen Nexen Tire as an ‘excellent supplier’ at an awards ceremony recently held in China. The ‘2014 APAC Supplier Town Hall and Awards Ceremony’ were held in Shanghai to honour the global suppliers FCA considers have delivered the best quality, brand values and technical skills.
“We have been selected as one of the excellent suppliers in the Chemical APAC Export sector in the ‘2014 APAC Supplier Town Hall and Awards Ceremony’ held in Shanghai by FCA,” stated a Nexen Tire representative. This year, Nexen Tire was the only tyre company to win an award in the Chemical APAC Export sector.
Along with announcing its award success, Nexen Tire reports it will supply original equipment tyres for the 2015 Ram ProMaster, a van range based on the Fiat Ducato. Nexen’s Rodian CT8 HL tyres will be fitted on North American market ProMaster models manufactured at FCA’s Saltillo plant in Mexico.
