Hercules launches H-704 truck tyre at SEMA
The new Hercules H704 was launched at the SEMA show in Las Vegas, USA on 4 November 2014
Hercules Tire launched the new Hercules H-704 closed shoulder deep drive truck tyre at the 2014 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Designed to handle demanding long-haul applications, the H-704 offers a heavy-duty all-steel casing, a 30/32 inch tread and a solid shoulder to resist irregular wear.
“Our H-Series medium truck offering has gained overwhelming acceptance from our customers,” said Joshua Simpson, vice president of marketing for Hercules Tire. “Naturally, we want it to be their go to line for all of their customers’ needs, so we are taking steps to make the H-Series line-up more robust while still being practical.”
Additional features the Hercules H-704 offers include: Extra deep tread for long original tread life; Solid shoulder for exceptional stability and resisting irregular tread wear; aggressive lugs for traction; and wide grooves to prevent stone trapping.
According to the company, the Hercules H-704 is available in six 14- and 16-ply sizes. Part of the EPA SmartWay verified technologies of low rolling resistance tyres, the H-704 has Hercules Tires’ Eco FT logo, signifying that it is approved for use on EPA SmartWay certified equipment. Hercules representatives later clarified that this product is pending SmartWay certification.
