Europcar helps ease exhibition fatigue
Exhibitions can be a great way to see the latest offerings in your particular industry, but traipsing round the larger shows can be tiring. But car hire services company Europcar has come up with an answer to exhibition fatigue with its latest initiative for ExCeL London.
The Europcar Golf Buggy service at ExCeL London offers customers the ideal way to travel around the conference and exhibition centre as well as to and from the on-site hotels. As Ken McCall, managing director, Europcar UK Group explained, it takes some of the ‘leg work’ out of event organisation or attendance: “There’s no question that circumnavigating a world-class venue, such as ExCeL London, can be hard-going on the legs. Getting from one side of the site to the other can also eat into already pressured schedules for event organisers and exhibitors. We have, therefore, developed this innovative service to improve efficiency and productivity for those organising and attending events at ExCeL London.”
Available to book from the Europcar Mobility Centre, the fleet of four Europcar Golf Buggies – each seating 6 people – are available with or without a driver. Customers simply book in advance and select a designated pick-up point for an allotted time period. Perfect for site visits during the planning stage of events, as well as offering quick, convenient transport during an event, the buggies are designed to cover longer distances outside the venue buildings.
“We’re delighted to bring four six-seater buggies to our fleet of transport solutions, as we continue to invest in a quality service at the Mobility Centre”, continued Ken McCall. “Event organisers and exhibitors can cover a lot of ground, over several days and our buggy service helps reduce stress by making movement around ExCel, faster and easier.
“We continue to work closely with the ExCeL London team to deliver the best in customer satisfaction for organisers, exhibitors and visitors. We are focusing on every aspect of mobility, ensuring ExCeL London continues to create a world leading service for international conference and event organisers.”
