DriveRight to offer TPMS CAD analysis soon
Tyre, wheel and automotive data firm DriveRight reports that it will soon be offering TPMS CAD analysis. In a recent newsletter the company reports that it has a number of different CAD drawings of OE and AM tyre pressure monitoring sensors from a variety of manufacturers (including Alligator, Schrader, Huf and VDO/Continental).
The idea is to offer a special service for wheel manufacturers to be able to test the usability of different TPMS sensors for a wheel design by using CAD analysis to determine the suitability for use in original wheels or aftermarket wheels.
For DriveRight customers, this removes the need for wheel designers and manufacturers to contact each TPMS manufacturer to obtain the corresponding CAD drawings, reducing testing costs and potential delays in obtaining what’s required.
