Maxion Wheels says its new truck rim is the world’s lightest

The new range of heavy truck steel wheels that Maxion Wheels is bringing to the IAA Commercial Vehicles show is six per cent lighter than the previous generation, the company reports. Furthermore, Maxion Wheels says the new GEN35TM line-up is 3.5 per cent lighter than the lightest equally-sized truck wheel currently sold anywhere in the world. The GEN35TM designation will be used for a full range of truck wheel sizes.

“We are proud to be the first to offer the market this revolutionary wheel design, which significantly improves the international standards for lightweight trucks wheels,” commented Fred Bentley, chief executive officer of Maxion Wheels.

IAA visitors can see the new Maxion Wheels range in hall 13, stand C45 between 25 September and 2 October. Engineers and designers responsible for the new product family will be on site, together with Maxion Wheels’ top management and sales team.
