Andrew Page adds ex-Unipart Automotive staff to sales team, relaunches Mega Wisebuys
Workshop equipment and automotive parts distributor Andrew Page is releasing an all-new Mega Wisebuys brochure. The company says it has teamed up with leading garage equipment manufacturers to develop the brochure, which features exclusive sales promotions and special offers. Containing information on everything from hand tools through to capital equipment, Mega Wisebuys aims to help garages find the best products and deals available.
On the personnel front, Andrew Page has expanded its garage equipment sales division by making new appointments in its nationwide and regional teams. The company has added five key members of staff from recently closed Unipart Automotive. The five new Andrew Page recruits include four regional garage equipment specialists, who will form part of a team providing national coverage, and a dedicated marketing manager for garage equipment. Andrew Page is to recruit a further three regional specialists to complete its line-up.
Complementing Andrew Page’s existing workshop equipment division, AP-Tech, the equipment specialists will provide a project management service including site surveys, groundworks and advice on larger installations including class 4 and 7 ATL bays, as well as full workshop re-fits. “The integration of garage equipment sales with AP-Tech will make Andrew Page the market leader in garage equipment, with a range including capital equipment, diagnostics, air con, hand tools and training.” explained Simon Mullin, sales and marketing director at Andrew Page.
The news follows the recent announcement that Andrew Page was able to spearhead a joint deal with The Parts Alliance to save 33 branches and around 350 related jobs from the former Unipart Automotive when it entered into administration. The recent opening of a new site in Southampton takes Andrew Page to 114 branches nationwide, which is expected to expand to 120 branches within the next three months.
