Giti Tire appoints Italian market analyst
Igino Schiavi has been appointed by Giti Tire as market analyst for Italy, with responsibility for passenger car and light truck (PCR) and truck and bus (TBR) positioning strategies. His main role will be to collect and analyse market data to benchmark the company’s GT Radial, Primewell and Runway tyre brands on both price and performance to ensure best product placement.
He joins from Marangoni Tyre SpA where he held the position of marketing specialist from 2009, during which time he supported the management team and reported to the sales and marketing director responsible for global commercial operations.
Based in the Italian office in Milan, he will report directly to marketing manager for the Italian, Spanish and Portuguese markets, Lorella Maggiori and work closely with country manager, Daria Sala Della Cuna.
Della Cuna said: “The position of market analyst is pivotal in the development of any brand, and Igino joins Giti Tire when we are witnessing greater market penetration and looking to grow further. He will excel in a market where he already has excellent knowledge, and his work will strengthen our team greatly.”
