Yokohama reshuffles senior management

The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd. has made the following changes in senior management responsibilities and the appointment of corporate officers, as decided at the 25 June 2014, meeting of the board of directors. The changes will be effective as of 1 July 2014.

Yasushi Kikuchi becomes managing corporate officer, Head of Tire Materials Development Div., Head of R&D Center having previously been managing corporate officer, Head of Tire Technical Development Div., Head of R&D Center.

Hirohisa Hazama takes on the role of corporate officer, chief quality assurance officer (before he was corporate officer, chief quality assurance officer, head of Industrial Products Quality Assurance Div.)

Masataka Yamaishi is now corporate officer, acting head of Corporate Planning Div., assistant to head of Tire Business Planning Div., head of Corporate Planning Dept., president of Acty Corporation. His prior responsibilities were corporate officer, acting head of Corporate Planning Div., head of Corporate Planning Dept., president of Acty Corporation.

The following were also appointed as corporate officers: Kazuya Nakazawa corporate officer, president of Yokohama Industrial Products Japan Co., Ltd. Before this Nakazawa was responsible as associate corporate officer, president of Yokohama Industrial Products Japan Co., Ltd.

Likewise Koichi Tsuruno is now corporate officer, President of Yokohama Tire Manufacturing (Thailand) Co., Ltd., president of Yokohama Asia Co., Ltd. having previously been associate corporate officer, President of Yokohama Tire Manufacturing (Thailand) Co., Ltd., President of Yokohama Asia Co., Ltd. cja
