Nexen Europe boss ‘takes over new functions’
Joo-Ho Song will take on new responsibilities within the company, according to Nexen
Nexen Tire reports that Joo-Ho Song, The former president of Nexen Tire is to “take over new functions” at the company. Nexen was at pains to point out that the news marks the end of “an almost two year lasting success story of the Korean top manager in Germany”. No details of who will follow Joo-Ho Song have yet been released, but an announcement is expected shortly.
An official statement detailing the news explained that “he obtained a very high reputation with all customers and partners. In addition he implemented a lot of successful projects and corporation strategies”. These projects concluded with another high profile Nexen stand in hall three of the Reifen show in Essen between 27 and 30 May 2014.
According to the statement, Joo-Ho Song appreciates his new challenges and stated his thanks for “trustful cooperation with all Nexen Tire clients in the past”. Furthermore he reportedly sent best wishes for the future of the Nexen Tire DACH region organization especially in terms of “strategic growth in OE and replacement”.
