Reifen debut for Bridgestone agri range

In addition to bringing its full line-up of new and retreaded truck and bus tyres to Reifen 2014, Bridgestone will show off its brand new range of Bridgestone-brand agricultural tyres for the first time ever. The company says all 550m2 of its two-storey booth will be used to showcase its full range of commercial products, including those of subsidiary brands Firestone, Bandag and Protread.

Bridgestone says highlights at the trade show will include new truck and bus tyres such as the all-position urban Bridgestone U-AP 001 and the new-generation Firestone FS422 steer, FD622 drive and FT522 trailer tyres. New Bandag products such as the fuel-smart FuelTech M749 FuelTech and R109 FuelTech will also be showcased, as well as the regional drive BDR-HT4.

The first tyre in the new Bridgestone agricultural range – a portfolio the manufacturer says is already creating quite a stir – is the VT-Tractor. Bridgestone says it already has a market leading agricultural segment brand in Firestone, however it now aims to “raise the bar even higher” in this competitive field with tyres that offer the “best of both worlds” when it comes to soil protection and efficiency.

Non-tyre products on display at the Bridgestone stand include TPMS technologies and the latest version of Bridgestone’s ToolBox application, designed to give fleet operators a clear and constant view of the condition of their tyres.
