Pro-Align achieves IMI accreditation
Pro-Align has achieved accreditation for its Towcester headquarters as an IMI Awards Approved Centre. Becoming an approved centre is the first stage in enabling Pro-Align to offer IMI’s Quality Assured Awards (QAA) for their training courses and reinforces the company’s commitment to education and raising the standards of wheel alignment in the UK.
“We are delighted to be once again setting new standards in the industry with this important initiative,” commented Paul Beaurain, managing director, Pro-Align. “We have long believed that the industry needs to offer consumers a consistent, high-quality level of service and this is a major step in helping to deliver this. Technicians will now be able to undertake alignment theory training with the confidence that it’s accredited and approved by a recognised training body.”
In achieving the Approved Awards Centre status, Pro-Align has had to satisfy the IMI’s rigorous process, in which an external verifier visited the facilities, inspected course resources to check it was of good quality and have a process of assessment, quality management systems and qualified personnel to meet the IMI’s requirements. The company will now be subject to ongoing monitoring to ensure standards are maintained.
“We look forward to welcoming many more students through our doors who can now have extra assurances about the advice and training they are about to receive and the certification gives credibility and formal industry recognition for the Pro-Align course they have attended,” concludes Beaurain.
